Other than building the Colossal Adamantine Drill, don't see a practical use. +1, but I'm curious if your comments are based the Trains update, Traffic Lights update, or both? Noticed in the research tree for the later, train upgrades have been added. The whole trains system needs a LOT of work. ![]() The game doesn't tell you how to set up trains and train stations, and when it doesn't work it doesn't tell you why. I've watched videos where someone will mess with it for 45 minutes and then suddenly it starts working and everyone is baffled as to why. The only bonus from spaceship repairs that is noticeable is unlocking research. Productivity is exactly the same after the research. But nothing has changed in the display of productivity. If none of the above works, just keep trying until it does. I have researched the spaceship bonus that all buildings are 5 more efficient. This is the part that you have to find on your own if nobody tells you because there is NO in-game help. Go into the trains interface (bottom button in the upper-left of the screen) and be sure to add both stations and add at least one train. What I did is put a little connector on one side of each of my stations, so the trains turn around there, and then have two tracks next to each other connecting the stations. Remove all roads connected to your train stations, then attach a one-way going in and one-way coming out, make sure those are hooked up to a road where traffic can flow (don't cross them or have one inaccessible, or anything like that). If you are having problems with your trains, here's what I recommend: Can anyone give a step-by-step guide on how to get it work without me having to sit through yet another 45 minutes video? There is NO in-game help for the trains, and it seems like they just work for some people, and do absolutely nothing for others. The station near the houses is also connected to a road. On the production side, I have tried using the center in/out roads, which didn't work, then switched to the ones on the corners, and that didn't do anything either. All it takes is looking through the game’s files and changing the parameters you want to change. Any motivated player can make this kind of mods. ![]() Overriding the values that are currently in the game You can write simple patch.json files in order to change a lot of the parameters of the game. ![]() I can watch the train travel back and forth between the stations, but it's always empty. Basic Overview InfraSpace can be modded in three big ways requiring different types of skills: 1. I created a line and added both stations to it, and added a train to the line. I connected the stations with rails, and a loop on each end. I created 2 small stations, one in an area making computers, one near my houses. I've seen multiple videos on Youtube of people getting frustrated trying to figure it out, and then suddenly it just magically starts working after they mess with it for 30-40 minutes, but even when I do the EXACT same thing, mine doesn't work. I have now spent well over an hour trying to figure how to get trains to work, but still can't get any goods to travel by train. Up until I unlocked trains, I was enjoying this game.
